Aoife Casey's work bring a skill base from the fields of sculpture and textiles in to live art in a manner which results in performances where carefully chosen and crafted materials are transformed and subverted by interaction with the body.
For TheNestXtage, Casey will perform Tin Girl, an object based piece whose narrative alludes to the issue of emmigration from the point of view of those left behind.
