Joan Healy is an artist and independent curator. Her work combines live and performance art, sculpture and painting. This work often interacts with and challenges ideas and assumptions about the generally positive reception of technological "progress".
She has recently co-organised Livestock, a bimonthly live art night that acts as an open platform for experimental live performance at the Market Studios, Dublin.
For TheNestXtage, Healy will create a new, text based durational performance that references the particular religious tradition of "speaking in tounges".
